Description:
Kuta
is Bali's busy region and a trip into the shopping and nightlife
areas is a must for all age groups. There is a great selection
of restaurants and bars and whether it be day or night you will
always find something to see and do in Kuta. The nightlife is
many and varied and goes on long into the night.
Tuban is just a short walk south of Kuta and offers a far
quieter location yet you still have easy walking access to the
thriving area of Kuta. The wide selection of quality hotels
offer great value and give this region real appeal. Children and
families are well catered for and Waterbom Park offers a great
day out. Brand new in 1997 in Tuban is one of Bali's biggest
retail shopping areas and it is just steps away from most of the
hotels.
Legian is just north of Kuta and it is a little more laid
back. The shopping, restaurants and nightlife are excellent and
plentiful and you can spend hours enjoying the walks amongst
Legian's small intimate streets. The beach offers excellent
surfing. Legian is a favourite of many past visitors and a
popular alternative to Kuta.
Seminyak is a past favourite of many visitors to Bali. It
is still offer peace and tranquility while the excitement and
busy lifestyle of Kuta is just a short ten minute drive away.
You can enjoy uncrowded beaches or just explore the area at an
unhurried place. You will see the influence of the Europeans
with their unique galleries, shops and boutiques. Furniture and
pottery shops abound in the area and offer some of Bali's best
bargains. Seminyak is for those wanting a relaxing holiday and a
laid back lifestyle.
